About Briana

Briana Jimenez is currently a student at New Jersey City University. She is enrolled in New Pathways to Teaching program for Elementary Education. She currently holds a Certificate of Eligibility to teach K-6. Ms. Jimenez teaches 4th grade at Anna L. Klein School in Guttenberg, New Jersey. Briana graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice. Before becoming a homeroom teacher, she was a substitute teacher in the same district. Briana looks forward to growing and expanding her knowledge and experiences as an educator.

1. Discover and explore different platforms, tools and softwares in the classroom.

2. Have students submit assignments through google classroom and other platforms.

Medium Term Goals

1. Use technology to enhance reading instruction by incorporating digital tools at least once a week to support reading comprehension, fluency, and engagement in the classroom.
